How to record your activities on your HEAR

How to record your activities on your HEAR

We don’t automatically record your co-curricular activities on your HEAR, so if you are participating in any recognised activities and you would like your activity recorded on your HEAR, it’s time to take some action.

If you have participated in an activity that’s recognised on the HEAR and you would like it to be recorded on your HEAR, this is what you need to do.

Check you have completed the criteria for your activity

You can find the criteria for your activity on the Goldsmiths website.

Let the organiser for your activity know that you want your activity recorded.

You can find the name and contact details of the activity organisers on the HEAR page of learn.gold.

At the end of the year, once the activity organiser has verified that you’ve completed the criteria, the HEAR Coordinator will record your achievement on your HEAR and email you to confirm.

And that’s it!

Your Interim HEAR

You will be able to see your Interim HEAR from July 1st. This is a snapshot of your progress so far – it will show your academic results and any activities that have been verified and recorded.

How to access your Interim HEAR

All you need to do is log into your MyGoldsmiths account. Click on the My Results tab and you will see your results. At the bottom of the page you can click to view your Interim HEAR as a PDF document and you can print it out.

Not sure if you want your activity recorded on your HEAR? Take a look at the video of last year’s students  telling us why it’s important for them to get recognition on their HEAR for the activities they are doing outside their degree programme.

If you have any questions about your activities or any aspect of your HEAR, drop me an email HEAR@gold.ac.uk
